Amazing experience, when I called to make a reservation Fatima gave me the best room and a extra bed to sleep on to make my stay remarkable. Then I met David who had amazing customer service and he was phenomenal. Julian was outstanding during our stay through out the night he made us feel safe throughout the night. Breakfast was delicious and hotel has a beautiful view of the inner coastal I will definitely return. Amazing cleanliness as well. Also it was very quiet.
This was my second stay at this hotel. First time around, the front desk was very welcoming.
This time around, the young lady who checked us in appeared to be bothered by helping us. I don’t know her name.
The room itself was fine. It was clean and spacious. We had a balcony with a view of the front parking lot which was fine.
We noticed how dirty the underside of the comforter on the bed was. It was my fault for not mentioning it to the front desk and I should have taken pics for proof.
I will say, the 2 young ladies at the hotel bar were the sweetest. My BF and I enjoyed our drinks and had a great time with them and other patrons at the bar.
We do plan on revisiting but will bring our own bedding.
We checked in at 1:30pm on a Wednesday. We appreciated that our room was ready before 3:00pm, although we were prepared to keep our suitcases in the car. At 1:30am, I pulled the sheet back on the bed to find crumbs. Next to that bed, there was syrup on the night stand. The sheets on the other bed did not appear to be changed either. We went down to the front desk and the agent, Roc, gave us two new sets of sheets. He told us the manager, David, would be in tomorrow morning. By the time we changed the sheets and got in bed, it was past 2:30am, and we did not get a chance to see David the next morning.
During that time, we discovered that our sliding bathroom door track was broken and would not allow the door to shut. Even if the door was able to shut, the locking mechanism for the door was also broken. We had to use the bathroom with the door open. In the bathroom, the dispensers of soap and hair products had not been refreshed. We believe the room was left in a semi-presentable condition, so housekeeping did not fulfill their obligations.
On Friday, we went down to the front desk during David’s shift. The front desk agent, Fatima, told us she did not know where David was and asked how she could help. She said, “looks like the manager already credited you back some money.. we also talked to the Housekeeping crew and told them about the situation.” Fatima apologized once. When I said I had other issues with the room that I wanted to speak about, she repeated she did not know where David was (although we were told about 15 minutes ago that he was there in the back). She offered to have housekeeping refresh the room and we turned her down. We did not trust the staff at this point and we were checking out the following day.
The lack of follow-up and customer service was not up to Marriott’s standards. This issue could have easily been resolved if David had reached out to apologize. Roc, who we were told was a temporary agent, was the only accommodating employee we encountered. We will be staying elsewhere while visiting our family in Myrtle next time.
I stayed here to get daughter settled in at CCU the 1st weekend in August . Absolutely loved it. The restaurant/bar was great on Saturday night. The bartenders were super nice, and personable. Had a bunch of laughs. Dinner was terrific. Only wish it were open on Sunday. Really enjoyed a relaxing day at the pool on Sunday. The staff and front desk were very accommodating and friendly. Cant wait to go back again.
DO NOT STAY HERE!
I wish I could tell you I had a comfortable 10 day stay here, but I'd be lying if I did.
Stolen property:
First off, the owners of this hotel are too cheap to fix the problems and upkeep of this hotel. They choose the cheapest way possible...including taking down (or possibly never installing) security cameras that look into the parking lot. MY TRAILER WITH MY COMPANIES VEHICLE INSIDE WAS STOLEN during my stay. Had there been a working camera in the parking lot, their might have been a way to catch the low-lifes that stole my property. $125K gone!
Service:
The young staff there couldn't care less about you or your stay at the hotel. The only attentive staff has left the property and others will follow. The moral at this place is poor.
Rooms:
While spacious, the air conditioners in most of the rooms need servicing. The entire room is wet (floors, beds) due to the lack of properly working units.
Bottom line, if you are looking for a relaxing and safe stay, go elsewhere. Not a hotel held by the current owners.
We were stranded in Myrtle Beach due to the Nor’easter. We stayed for a night at Four Points. The room was lovely and the amenities were top notch. The lobby and bar area are welcoming and clean. Our room was very affordable. Highly recommend!
I arrived late after a severely delayed flight. The gentleman at the front desk (I think his name was Julian) was wonderfully accommodating—perfect. The hotel was ultra clean. The bed was next level comfy. What more could a guest want? Glad I got to stay at the property.
Awesome hotel! Recently opened as the Four Points. Spacious rooms. Loved the waterfront balcony. The pool indoor/outdoor was big and loved the pool deck on the water front. Decent size gym also. Great location, convenient to many Myrtle Beach attractions. Very friendly staff and super delicious breakfast with a huge selection. Free parking. Check out the Boathouse next door, especially on Sundays. Can't wait to stay here again. Highly recommended!
